The Pin Show, one of the most highly anticipated fashion events in Dallas, will be returning to The Bomb Factory in just a few short weeks, on February 20, 2016. As constant supporters of local designers and fashion talent, we are thrilled to be sponsoring this can’t-miss event. So mark your calendars and read on for all of the details on what is set to be Dallas’ show of the year.
With an extraordinary line-up of 22 designers, each to showcase a collection of six to ten looks, The Pin Show is a must-attend for fashion-lovers and industry insiders alike. Designs will range from the avant garde to ready-to-wear, and will be set against a high-energy backdrop of music provided by Zhora, Ronnie Heart, Dezi 5, Sam Lao, and Becki Howard. In addition, The Pin Show has teamed up with BBD designers Jonathan Rudak, Mike Arreaga and Rick Fontenot for a creative installation on the runway.
New to The Pin Show this year are designers and labels Christian Allana, Noble Elizabeth, Shallamar, Silk Threads and Elle Luxx, among others.
Past and Present
Since its creation in 2007 by founder and executive director Julie McCullough, The Pin Show has acted as the go-to platform for independent and emerging designers to showcase their fashions. This year, along with eighteen new participants, four veteran designers will return to the runway. No strangers to The Pin Show, past favorites Charlotte Elliott of Yomono and Jesse Thaxton of Melancholic Designs, will open the show with a special ceremony featuring a curated collection of over 15 looks each.
Sponsors of the Show
The Pin Show will partner once again with sponsors Stila Cosmetics, Wallflower Management, Shag Carpet Props, Dragonfly Agency and Jean Phillipe Salon for this year’s event. What’s more, the show will feature both a co-op boutique and marketplace where attendees can shop looks from the 2016 designers.
Primed to be the show of Dallas’ 2016 fashion scene, The Pin Show is unique in that it merges all aspects of the industry, from design to showcase to market, creating a one-of-a-kind experience that is sure to be nothing short of incredible.
Tickets for the show are on sale now through ThePinShow.com, with a limited number of VIP seating available. This is bound to be one of the hottest shows in Dallas, so don’t delay!
